These are production back-up copies of the letter Crockett Johnson wrote to Harold in Harold and the Purple Crayon. There are a few different types:

  • the actual letter used, two available, one with envelope and one without
  • a version of the letter written to his wife Julia
  • the actual letter used but on a whiter paper
  • the letter he wrote to Julia but addressed to Harold
  • the letter he wrote to Julia but no addressed to anyone specific

Each letter is sold separately. The envelope was stored in a bin with purple crayons on it so it got a little messy from them as seen in picture.
